Sendmeetings

Privacy

This page explains which personal data Sendmeetings uses and why. Questions: write to the address on the Contact page.

Visiting the site: we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. Fonts and images are served from our own site.

Your account: we store your email address, the name you choose and your preferred language, so you can log in and follow your events. Your login is kept in your browser until you log out. Accounts and data are stored by Supabase on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). Emails (confirmation, password reset, approval or rejection of your events) are sent through Resend.

Anti-spam: the sign-up and login forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person without tracking you across sites.

Events you submit: the information about the event, the photo and the source links you provide. After approval they are public on the site, without your name or email. The map in the form loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap and place searches from Photon (komoot) only while you use it.

Your rights: from My account you can download all your data, correct your profile and delete your account at any time. Deleting the account removes your profile and your pending or rejected proposals; events already published stay online without any link to you (write to us if you want them removed). You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
